January 8th- Modern Times 1924 with Charlie Chaplin- Directed by Charlie Chaplin. January 15th - Spies 1928 with Rudolph Klien-Rogge Directed by Fritz Lang Piano by Mary J. Martin. January 22nd - A Night of Griffith Shorts with Judith of Bethulia Directed by D.W. Giffith Piano by Mary J. Martin. January 29th - The Private Life of Henry VIII with Charles Laughton and Lisa Lanchaster Directed by Alexander Korda. Over the years hundreds of people have contributed their time and talents to create WOMR's diverse and special programming. There are very few, if any, radio stations like WOMR in the country. We are a non-profit organization, not affiliated with any educational institution, and derive our financial support from listeners, businesses and grant making organizations like the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
