Crown Cabaret Countdown 2008

The Crown and Anchor entertainment complex Provincetown invites you to join the Crown Cabaret Countdown 2009 with Mary and Brian. December 31st 9 pm No cover charge. Mary Callanan and Brian Patton have been performing together for the past twenty years. (Their third grade cabaret show, "A Tribute to Steve and Eydie" is STILL being talked about!). One of the keys to Mary & Brian's success is that they really are having as much fun as it seems, whether they're performing on stage, in the studio or working together on arrangements. They’ve opened for Steve Tyrell and worked with all of Boston’s best cabaret artists. They have a number of self-contained shows, most notably "Burt & Carole & Brian & Mary - the Music of Burt Bacharach and Carole King" and "Hey There - A Tribute to Rosemary Clooney". They perform all the favorites from the Great American Songbook, plus Sinatra, the Carpenters, Dusty & Manilow. One of their most valuable strengths is their adaptability. On January 1st The Crown and Anchor Presents Laura Cappello as Patsy Cline 8 PM at the Paramount. Laura Cappello, a Cape Cod native, has been performing on local stages all of her life. She took on the role of Patsy Cline in 2002 and now has over 100 performances under her cowgirl belt. She is delighted to be bringing the songs of Patsy Cline to the stage and audiences of the Crown and Anchor.
