World Aids Day - Provincetown

World AIDS Day December 1, 2008. Help us light up Provincetown Cape Cod. Light a luminaria or candle at sunset on Dec. 1 in memory of loved ones lost to AIDS or in concern for neighbors, family & friends living with HIV/AIDS. If you or your group would like to organize a "light up your street" campaign, we will supply the materials. Call the AIDS Support Group of Cape Cod - Provincetown for more information 508.487.9445. Started on 1st December 1988, World AIDS Day is about raising money, including raising money for AIDS charity AVERT, but as importantly it is about increasing awareness, fighting prejudice and improving education.
