New FREE Art Program at PAAM

Middle school students from Harwich to Provincetown are invited to explore their artistic interests in ART on the EDGE, a new 12 week immersion program at The Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM). Meeting on Saturdays, participants will work with five professional teaching-artists, exploring drawing fundamentals, sketching the figure, painting portraits, monotype and white-line woodblock prints, and sculpture. The program will culminate in an exhibition and reception in PAAM’s galleries to celebrate the young artists. The public is warmly invited to attend the reception. Youth who are developing artists or those who consider themselves absolute beginners are encouraged to apply. The only requirement is a desire to learn and develop creatively. A free bus will leave from Harwich Middle School and pick up students at designated stops along the outer Cape.
