Provincetown Bears

The Bears have come to Provincetown. July 12th to the 19th, Provincetown plays host to the Bear community. Ptown is packed and bears are everywhere. They come in all shapes and sizes - muscled men, heavyset, furry or bare, often bearded and always exuding a manly charm.
One of the most anticipated events during bear week is the Firemen's Ball held at The Crown and Anchor's Paramount Club. Other key events include Vault at Large and Tag T-Dance, also at the Paramount Club, Bears at the A-House, Crisco Disco and UnderBear Parties at Club Purgatory. Whether you've been to other Provincetown Bear Events or celebrating it for the first time in Ptown, head over to the Crown and Anchor's Poolside to meet and mingle with other Bears (free lounge chairs to all Bears during Bear Week). T-dances, special shows, dune tours, whale watching and BBQ, there's a lot of activities to choose from during Bear Week. But most importantly, there is a lot of time to meet other Bears and enjoy a fun-filled week in sun-kissed Provincetown.
