Whale Watching in Provincetown

Stellwagen Bank, ranked as one of the top ten whale watching sites in the world by the World Wildlife Fund, is an important feeding ground for endangered marine mammals such as the North Atlantic right whale, humpback whale and the finback whale. The sanctuary is just 6 miles off Provincetown and whales can be spotted as close as a few hundred feet off-shore on occassion.
