Stellwagen Bank, ranked as one of the top ten whale watching sites in the world by the World Wildlife Fund, is an important feeding ground for endangered marine mammals such as the North Atlantic right whale, humpback whae and the finback whale.

The sanctuary is just 6 miles off Provincetown and whales can be spotted as close as a few hundred feet off-shore on occassion. Take either the Dolphin Fleet or the Portuguese Princess on one of their whale watching trips and you'll have an awe-inspiring experience as you get up close and personal to these gentle giants of the sea.
